NewsThe Current Retirement Marie Hayes Marie began her career at Talquin in 2005 as a Member Services Representative at the Quincy Member Services Office. Throughout her 21 years at Talquin, Marie has served Members and employees across many departments, including Member Services, Information Services, Finance, and Engineering & Operations. Marie deeply values her time at Talquin and will cherish the relationships she built along the way. After retirement, Marie plans to spend time working in her yard, as she loves flowers, and looks forward to starting a vegetable garden. Marie, Talquin will miss you and your dedication; thank you for 21 years of service! Graduations Tylor Hudson Wesley Vernon Congratulations are in order for Tylor Hudson and Wesley Vernon, who have recently earned their titles of 1st Class Linemen! Through rigorous training with Northwest Lineman College and hands-on experience in the field, they have gained extensive experience in installing and troubleshooting specialized high-voltage equipment, including transformers and substations. Their achievement will not only continue to strengthen our system reliability but will also position them to serve as mentors to our next generation of apprentice linemen. In her expanded role, Sandy will continue her strong commitment to excellent service by maintaining billing functions and communicating Account information, while taking on additional responsibilities, such as the coordination of collections and billing adjustments. Overall, Sandy’s ability to connect with her community will continue to ensure reliable support for the Members we serve.
