Officers responded around 8:30 a.m. April 29 to the 500 block of Cedar Village Drive after a 911 call reported a fight involving gunfire. The initial report led to a significant police presence in the area. Upon arrival, officers found no evidence that a fight had taken place or that any shots were fired. Authorities now believe the incident was a false or “swatting” call and have launched an investigation to identify who made the report. No injuries were reported.
