False alarm brings heavy police presence to quiet street Manchester Township, PA — A reported shooting that triggered a large police response in York County has been determined to be unfounded, with investigators now working to trace the source of the call. Officers responded around 8:30 a.m. April 29 to the 500 block of Cedar Village Drive after a 911 call reported a fight involving gunfire. The initial report led to a significant police presence in the area. Upon arrival, officers found no evidence that a fight had taken place or that any shots were fired.
