Thank a Teacher: Monica Hernandez from Wynnebrook Elementary School The School District of Palm Beach County Apr 23 2026 Monica Hernandez credits her success as an English Language Arts teacher at Wynnebrook Elementary School in West Palm Beach to her father, Juan Antonio Serra, who passed away just a few months ago. He taught her the value of discipline and the power of hard work, lessons she now passes on to her students every day.
