Homicide suspect from New Jersey captured at Pennsylvania hotel

Man wanted in New Jersey homicide caught in Pennsylvania Wilkes-Barre, PA — A man wanted in connection with a homicide investigation out of New Jersey was taken into custody at a Pennsylvania hotel after authorities tracked his location. The arrest occurred around 7:31 a.m. April 29 on Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre. Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, working with Wilkes-Barre City Police, located the suspect at a hotel. Authorities identified the man as 39-year-old Jahlil Zamora of Irvington, New Jersey. He was wanted on an active warrant for criminal homicide issued by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
