Learn More Public Meeting CDBG CV Pre App 3-11-2021 NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING Hendry County Grants and Special Projects Notice is hereby given that the Hendry County Grants Department will hold a meeting on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the Harlem Civic Center, 7th St. Clewiston, FL. The meeting is open to the public. Hendry County is requesting public comment in regard to the submission of an application to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) for Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV). The pre application is for proposed work on the Harlem Civic Center. The County plans to apply for approximately $450,000.00 in CDBG-CV funds for health and safety enhancements against COVID 19 for the civic center. As a part of the requirements to receive the funds the county must have a pre-application meeting for public review and comment of the proposed project.
