Lower School Takes the Spotlight with Creative Spring Performances Apr 20 2026 The Lower School took to the stage this spring for a series of joyful performances, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and hard work. Held in the Sandra O. Stephens Fine Arts Auditorium, the productions brought together storytelling, music, and movement in a celebration of learning and the arts. On April 2, students performed Underwater Friends & Springtime Fun, a delightful showcase featuring students from Mrs. Shirley’s, Mrs. Sinopoli’s, Mrs. Granada’s, Mrs. Garland’s, and Mrs. Clark’s classes. The program transported audiences beneath the sea with Go Fish!, where students portrayed a variety of sea creatures, before transitioning into the lively and colorful Bada Bing, It’s Spring!, highlighting the beauty of the season. On April 16, students took to the stage for Fairy Tales and Grammar Trails, performed by Mrs. Cook’s, Mrs. Crawford’s, Ms. McDaniel’s, and Mrs. Muniz’s classes. This production blended classic fairy tale elements with engaging grammar-themed storytelling, allowing students to bring language concepts to life through performance. Both productions were directed by Lower School Theatre/ Arts teacher Ms. Kaitlynn Rogers. These spring performances highlighted the talents of Montverde Academy’s youngest Eagles and underscored the importance of the arts in fostering confidence, collaboration, and creativity. Through their time on stage, students demonstrated that learning can be both meaningful and magical! Lower School
