News & Important Information NEW AUTOPAY FEATURE SIMPLIFIES VEHICLE REGISTRATION RENEWALS The Lee County Tax Collector is making it easier than ever for customers to stay up to date on their vehicle registrations with the launch of a new autopay feature. Customers can enroll in automatic payments when completing their registration renewal online. Once enrolled, registrations will be automatically renewed each year before their due date, helping customers avoid missed deadlines and last-minute trips. “Many customers don’t realize their registration expires at midnight on their birthday,” said Tax Collector Noelle Branning. “Autopay removes that stress by ensuring renewals happen automatically, giving customers one less thing to worry about.” Customers enrolled in Autopay will receive reminder emails in advance of each payment, and their updated registration will be mailed directly to their address on file. The feature also provides flexibility, allowing users to update payment information or cancel enrollment at any time through their online account.
