Anne Arundel County, MD — A coordinated regional investigation has led to the arrest of six suspects accused of carrying out dozens of commercial burglaries across central Maryland, with police saying the group’s activity spanned at least three months and multiple jurisdictions. The arrests came Tuesday in Columbia, where officers intercepted the suspects as they attempted another break-in, effectively ending what investigators describe as a widespread burglary spree. The Anne Arundel County Police Department says the group is tied to more than a dozen overnight commercial burglaries in Anne Arundel County alone between February and April 2026, with similar incidents reported across neighboring counties.
