Wall Township, NJ — Thirteen people were arrested in Wall Township between Monday, April 20 and Sunday, April 26, with impaired driving cases and warrant arrests making up the bulk of police activity. The Wall Township Police Department reported five driving while intoxicated (DWI) charges during the week, many tied to late-night traffic stops on major roadways including Routes 34, 35, 70, and Interstate 195. The arrests reflect a steady pace of enforcement across the township, with multiple incidents unfolding during routine patrols and coordinated warrant pickups involving other agencies. DWI arrests cluster along major corridors Five drivers were charged with DWI over the seven-day period, according to the Wall Township Police Department. Arrests occurred on State Highway 35, Highway 71, Highway 34, Sea Girt Avenue, and Interstate 195—roads that carry heavy local and commuter traffic. On Tuesday afternoon, April 21, Patrolman Kevin Orender arrested Jeffrey Briggs, 59, of Westfield, following an investigation on Route 35 at 3:39 p.m. Later that night, Patrolman Alexandra Clayton stopped Bonifacio Vasquez, 38, of Neptune, on Route 71, charging him with DWI and an outstanding East Brunswick warrant.
