Philadelphia, PA – A man with a gunshot wound arrived at a Center City hospital Tuesday afternoon after a shooting on the 1100 block of Vine Street, prompting an active investigation by Philadelphia police. The victim reached Jefferson Hospital – Center City shortly after 3:58 p.m., around the same time officers were dispatched to the scene, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. Police confirmed the man arrived by private vehicle seeking treatment. Officers secured the Vine Street location as investigators began processing the scene in the city’s 9th District.
