NewsThe Current Through February 2026, the SCRS has recovered more than $6 million of the $8 million needed to cover non-reimbursable storm-related expenses. The remaining balance is anticipated to be collected prior to June of this year. What does this mean for your electric bill? Once the SCRS has been fully collected, the SCRS charge will go away, and you will see a decrease in your monthly electric bill of $9.42 per 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh).
