Burn ban is in effect for Hendry County!LaBelle, Fla. – A burn ban is now in effect for unregulated fires for all of Hendry County as dry weather conditions impact the area. Learn More Notice of Road Work on County Road 835 (November 2, 2023) – Please be advised that on Friday, November 3, 2023, Hendry County’s contractor OHLA USA, Inc., will be conducting paving work on sections of County Road (CR) 835 in Clewiston, FL. Paving will be conducted at sections approximately 2 miles east of the intersection of CR835 and CR833. Traffic will be down to one lane for the duration of the work. Flagmen will be present to direct traffic. Motorists should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone. Residents or motorists with any questions or concerns can contact the Hendry County Engineering Department at 863-675-5222.
