1. Submit a Report
Anyone can report a feed item through its “Report an error” link at /correct/[item]. An account is not required. Contact information is optional and is used only as described on the form and in the Privacy Policy.
2. What Submission Means
The system records the report and may withhold the affected item for further processing. Submission does not guarantee a response, a human review, a decision deadline, or a particular outcome. Urgent legal notices should use the takedown or DMCA process linked on this site when applicable.
3. Source Corrections
Chatterbox links to third-party sources and cannot change their underlying pages. If a publisher corrects or removes source material, Chatterbox may update or suppress the related feed item. For the fastest correction to the underlying information, contact the source publisher as well.
4. Chatterbox Records
When Chatterbox changes, suppresses, or retracts an item, it may retain an internal audit record of the original state, the report, and the action taken. Public display can be removed without erasing records that must be retained for security, compliance, or accountability.
5. Notifications
If you provide an email address and opt in, the system may send a receipt and may send a later status notice. Opting in does not create a response-time commitment.
